Freshmen Scott Hudson is a confident, intelligent, and unlike most other students in his grade he is also sympathetic. Scott helps many characters throughout the book. Yes Scott is a freshmen, but that does not stop him from being confident. Scott threw out the book has interacted with a student that was or is considered an “Outcast”. He had made it a point to make her feel like she is apart of something and someone. Scott is considered an intelligent student. Between all of his friends he is in higher classes.
