Romeo and Juliet tells the story about two young lover. In The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare, the interaction between the Montague and Capulet family are inadequate. Their is animosity between each of the families. Which is hard for Romeo and Juliet to see each other because of their feuding families. The characters that are blame is Fate, Friar Lawrence, and Capulet.Fate would to be blame because it keeps getting brought up in the play. Friar Lawrence would to be blame because of the medicine that he gave Juliet to sleep which Romeo thought she died. Capulet would to be blame because he kept pushing Juliet to get married to Paris. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, shows who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. One of the characters that is to blame, is Fate. Fate is a character because it is shown in the play a lot. For example in Document A, block one line six “A pair of star-cross’d lovers take their life”.(DBQ: Project, 2013) In that case this quote means that their love is doomed and they are going to die. Friar Lawrence agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet because he thinks that if they get married it will end the feud between the Montague and Capulet family. According to the text in Document C , block two “So smile the heavens upon this holy act… These violent delights have violent ends And in their triumph die, like fire and powder, which as they kiss consume…”.(DBQ: Project, 2013) From the reading this quote means the marriage between Romeo and Juliet and their lives will not last. Another key point is in Document C block three, line three “And, if thou darest, I’ll give you thee remedy”.
