Romeo and Juliet’s story was a tragedy, but it brings the question of, who is at most at fault for their deaths? Well the blame can not be placed on one person because of the many factors that were in play like the family feud, Friar Laurence and Romeo and Juliet themselves, and because of the many factors the person that can be blamed is destiny. The family feud played a major role in the deaths of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths and constantly hindered Romeo and Juliet’s ability to see each other. The family feud made the family hostile towards each other like in the beginning of the story Samson and Gregory, both montagues, insult a Capulet named Tybalt. Insulted Tybalt says “I hate hell, all montagues and thee” this shows the hate between the family. Later in the story Tybalt finds Romeo in the Capulet party and says “this by his voice, should be a montague. to strike him dead I hold it not a sin”. Now this still shows their hate for each other but the only reason it ends up with Romeo and Juliet's death is because of the fight between Romeo and Tybalt that gets Romeo banished and Tybalt killed. The plans were made with good intentions but ultimately led to Romeo and Juliet's deaths because of how flawed and risky the plan was. Friar gives Juliet a potion which would make her seem dead. friar said, “in page 453) shall, stiff, and stark and cold, appear like death” this explains what the potion does, it leads to their deaths because of how believable it was. romeo killed himself because he couldn't live without juliet, and juliet awoke and killed herself due to romeo's
