Have you ever felt like you have loved someone so much, then they go away and die? No, well that's the main plot of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet were star-crossed lovers, but fate wasn’t theirs. Romeo and Juliet got separated due to some issues, which ended up making them both kill themselves. Even though they did commit suicide, the people worth blaming are the nurse and Friar Lawrence for their deaths, but the people that take most of the responsibility for Romeo and Juliet's death are the families. The nurse is the least to blame for their deaths. The Nurse is to blame because she knew how Juliet felt about Romeo, she helped Romeo and Juliet hide everything, then she goes off and says to go marry Paris and forget about Romeo. Which made Juliet go to Friar Lawrence to help her. The next person worth a little bit more to blame is Friar Lawrence, he is worth blaming because he was the one who got them married, gave Juliet the poison, and then wasn’t able to get the letter to Romeo in time. By Friar Lawrence getting them married he thought that their feud would be over, he says, “For this alliance may so happily prove, To turn your households rancor to pure love”. So he did have the right intentions, but his plans didn’t end up as he wanted them to. Then he makes a big mistake by giving Juliet poison, so she doesn't have to marry Paris, but also he is in a tight spot because if he wasn’t going to help her she was just going to kill herself. But what made everything worse was when he promised Juliet that once she woke up from the poison, Romeo would greet her and they could live happily ever after. Everything was going according to plan; he made the letter for Friar John to give to Romeo, but he didn’t know that there was a plague outbreak going around and they had to quarantined there, so the letter was never
