There are many to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death. Out of all them Friar Lawrence is the one I chose because, first the advice he gave them throughout the tragic love story wasn’t fairly well, secondly how he pushed them in the wrong direction, and lastly the poison he gave them. Friar Lawrence isn 't the only one to blame, but he is the one who they 've communicated with the most. This is why I chose Friar Lawrence to blame. Friar Lawrence has given Romeo and Juliet advice for a while now and most of it was not good.

Yes, it was the friars fault for not delivering the letter himself, no it is not his fault that the letter did not get delivered.

He came up with all these three ideas, the potion, the message, and the marriage of them, and neither of them worked out correctly, or as he thought. Due to him not thinking things through enough, it resulted in both of them killing themselves. Friar Lawrence's idea of giving Juliet a potion to make her appear dead turned out to be a mistake as it was overly complicated and risky. Even though he wanted to help Juliet escape marrying Paris and be with Romeo, the plan relied too much on everything going perfectly.
Obviously, Friar Lawrence wanted Juliet to be underneath so Romeo would be waiting on her so they could both escape. Friar Lawrence was to blame for Romeo and Juliet. Unlike friar Lawrence, they wanted their love to suffer. And wanted everyone to believe that Juliet was being dealt with. Friar Lawrence wanted Juliet to take the potion and probably wanted her to die.

From my first thoughts, Friar Laurence is looked upon as a respectable, and trustworthy man. We, as the readers, know that he does not have these qualities. Doing that tricked everyone into thinking she was dead.
