The 2002 comedy film, ‘‘Friday after Next ' ' cranks up an impressive amount of energy considering that it 's the third installment. Yet although most of the ' 'Friday ' ' team returns, attrition is slowly wearing away at the series. ' 'I don 't know if I can handle another Friday, ' ' Craig says at the start of the movie, suggesting that despite all the laughs, he understands how tired the series is becoming. This film is directed by Marcus Raboy. Mike Epps is the comic character of the film that keep you guessing what he would do next, and Ice Cube is the serious cousins that keeps it altogether. The main antagonist in this film is the Santa Claus. The strength that makes Ricky Smiley such a compelling character for this position is that he sneaks in while they are asleep and sneaks out when they wake up. Craig fits the protagonist position because he was the main character involved in conflict with Santa Claus. He was also the leader in the decision making to come up with a plan to get their rent money back. I would recommend this one for any day of the week. It is definitely for adult audiences only. I love all the Friday movies but “Friday after Next” is absolutely hilarious and more enjoyable than first two. Craig and Day-Day always have made a great team when it comes to role-playing. The whole film just moves along brilliantly especially with Katt Williams and Terry Crews bringing something different to the table. If you have any sense of humor, you can agree that this movie is definitely worth watching. Finally, the movie ended with Craig and Day-Day throwing a Christmas party to raise their rent money. Also, they did get revenge on the thief who broke into their apartment. Of course it has both positive and negative reviews like every other work, but it is still my favorite. As stated earlier, this series is starting to become tiring but the characters are not yet finished with the series. You would certainly want to tune in later this year for the upcoming and final film for the “Friday” series titled “Last Friday” filming in
