Imagine having an animal that can weigh up to 200 pounds, grow up to 23 feet and isn’t even native to America and is still harming one of Florida’s ecosystem. This is what the Burmese Python (native to South Asia) is doing to the Everglade’s ecosystem. This animal is being bought by irresponsible pet owners and when they get to large they’re being released into the everglades which is harming that environment critically. The Burmese Python will devour anything in its way it does not have any predators.
