International centers work to inspire an appreciation of differences among cultures by providing opportunities for all segments of the campus community to participate in international education and intercultural exchange. Advising centers play a major role in higher education because they expose students to new ideas and opportunities, which can inspire them to explore their own path toward academic and professional fulfillment. Advisors help facilitate this process through the promotion of university involvement and identification of interests, abilities, and goals leading to self-discovery. A Multicultural Center is established with the goal that it would be a place where students and community members could experience the cultural wealth of the university, with a central purpose to teach diversity through student engagement and promote student success. The Multicultural Center provides resources, information, educational opportunities, and events that build inclusion focusing on five areas of diversity: race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, interfaith, and disability. These three examples prove how student affairs make vital efforts among diversity in higher
