“All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered, but the point is to discover them.” This was a famous quote said by the great Galileo Galilei. The quote basically defines the method of discovering things first then understanding the truths and facts. This quote relates to my thesis by showing the positive outcomes out of Galileo and the discoveries he has made. Galileo Galilei was, known as the father of science, was an important and influential figure in history that had a positive/negative impact on the world because of the inconvenient discoveries he made. One of those accomplishments were the hydrostatic balance. This weighed metals in the air as well as in water which determined their purity which was alike. Second one was a thermometer. This device that is still being used till this day in an ordinary bases shows the changes in temperature as it rises or lowers down. Third was that galileo proved his heliocentric model though his discoveries of the faces of venus. This showed the different faces of venus just as he discovered on the moon. His book, “The Assayer” is considered a pioneering work of the scientific method which arguments were justified solely on the basis of an individual. He also stated the basis of principles of relativity which was his famous work dialogue in 1632. Now the book did get him in trouble with the church. His friend that then became the pope saw his book “The assayer” and persecuted galileo.This then lead to almost the end of his time. There were more accomplishments that he had and the four moons that he discovered of pluto was the most known one. Now the most accomplishment or maybe even compliment he has gotten would be him being or considered the father of modern science. These were not to say the basic steps he took to become one of the most important and know astronomer/physicist. Because of all these things he has done he has became really famous as well. From what I've read. Besides that he did die at the age of 77. Was buried inside of a chapel next to the church santa croce florence and three fingers along with a vertebra and a tooth were removed from his corpse. His middle finger of his right hand has been housed at many museums. Either then that, galileo showed me that despite even religious circumstances, anything can be done if you put your mentality and hard work into what you want to achieve until you do. Galileo galilei was not afraid yet so he accomplished his work and died as the father of science leaving a remarkable mark in history. This gives me the attitude of one to look up
