Gandhi vs Caesar Mahthma Gandhi and Julius Caesar were two great leaders of two different empires. These two men led their empires to greatness, although Gandhi and Caesar were both publicly assassinated, Gandhi was a proponent of peace while Caesar was a man of violence; Each had similarities and differences in personal life, awareness, and their aftermaths after assassination. Gandhi and Caesar were assassinated in a brutal and unlawful manner. Gandhi was walking with two women at his side when a man came out of the crowd and bowed down to him. The man then shot him three times at point blank range into the chest. Caesar was at a meeting with the Roman senate when he was surrounded by six conspirators and stabbed thirty-three times. Each of these assassinations were public and extremely graphic. The aftermaths after these assassinations were more dangerous than the assassinations themselves. Once the people of India found out about the assassination of Gandhi, cities quickly went into riots, leaving fifteen people killed in the rioting.
