Gender Role In My Gender Identity

I don’t think I ever grew up with a specific gender role in my head. My parents didn’t ever really mention what it meant to be a boy or a girl. I kinda just learned while growing up. Girls was supposed to get an education, get married, have a child, and that was the jist of it. Men was supposed to do great in school (as the women), get a good job, travel the world, marry and have children.

I don’t really like to fall under a group, and I don’t feel like I do fit into a category. My gender identity has been formed by my parents, friends, school, television and movies. How exactly, I don’t know. But I know they effected how I viewed men and women. Like in GL, the boys/men stated that there is no Win-win situations for men. They pay for everything,
