The book of hiroshima

Throughout the book of “Barefoot Gen A Cartoon Story Of Hiroshima” by Keiji Nakazawa. This book shows many masculine and feminine roles cause in the period of time it took place the people were playing rolls of stay at home mothers fathers doing the hard rough work with children if they had boys and the daughter would help the mom with whatever but women would still get their hands dirty also doing some masculine work. It will be covering the gender roles they have been having in hiroshima during 1945 with what one family had to overcome this chaos.

During these unfortunate times for a japan, also with citizens having to suffer through it all being forced to do things or go places
