Is General Zaroff’s game fair? In the story The Most Dangerous Game Zaroff’s game is unfair. Reasons it’s unfair are, Zaroff has a pistol while Rainsford has a hunting knife, Zaroff has home advantage, the dogs get sent out if Zaroff has trouble finding you. First example of how the game is unfair is how Zaroff has a Pistol while Rainsford has a hunting knife.
At this point in the book O’Brien has decided he is going to the war. Not really for himself but for the people in his town. He doesn’t want the embarrassment of not going, he doesn 't want people looking down on him. He ultimately does it for everybody but himself. It comes from the story “On the rainy river”.
For the story, “ Most Dangerous Game” I had one question. What kind of animal is being hunted in the story by General Zaroff? I think the animal that is being hunted is a hybrid of the Cape Buffalo and the jaguar. In the story General Zaroff said the jaguar is super fast and he needed a challenge.

Evidence from the story shows that Zaroff considers himself civilized, Rainsford considers Zaroff civilized, and Rainsford considers himself civilized. Initially most people will think Zaroff isn 't civilized but there is evidence in the story.
The Most dangerous game In this story their is a man named Zaroff that hunts humans. Mr.Rainsford gets hunted by this crazy man and he also hunts other people. I think it is wrong to hunt man need some serious help. Rainsford comes upon a mansion that is owned by General Zaroff. He knows of Rainsford, who is a renowned author of a book about the hunt, as well as everything and everywhere Rainsford has hunted. General Zaroff is also a hunter, but he goes to the extreme.
Most people when they hear “The Most Dangerous Game” they think of bull riding or other dangerous games that don’t involve death. “The Most Dangerous Game” is a suspenseful cliff hanging story that follows the days of a castaway on the island of a crazed hunter. Rainsford is a big game hunter who falls off a boat near the island of General Zaroff, a big Cossack general who is looking for an alternative to hunting dangerous animals but with a twist. Throughout “The Dangerous Game” Rainsford and General Zaroff both show examples of IRony and exert arrogance.
