The bible talks about homosexualality, yet it seems to not really talk about homosexual marriage or same sex marriage. It is quite obvious how the bible condemns homosexuality as immoral and an unnatural sin. In Leviticus 18:22 it says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.”. This shows homosexual sex as an abomination. In Romans 1:26-27 it states, "For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.". What this means is that people who practice homosexuality are unrighteous and will not inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexual desires along with actions are sinful, so it is obvious that homosexuals “marrying” is not God’s will and is indeed a sin.

Every time the bible mentions something about marriage, it is between a male and a female. In Genesis 2:24 it says, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.". This shows that a man will leave his father and mother and unite with his wife to become one, uniting being marriage of course. In 1 Corinthians 7:2-16 it states, "But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. In Genesis 1:27-28 it says, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.". This points out that one of the purposes of sex was to “be fruitful and multiply” meaning making children. You can’t procreate with two men or with two women. It is between one male and one
