As the human population getting bigger, human needs more resources to sustain their life. On the other hand the earth itself is in the brink of death. The effect of too much exploitation on earth resources is starting to take a great toll on the earth. Now that people can’t rely on human resources only, they need another resources. Science is the one that can provide those new resources. Because science is still a developing baby that need nurturing from the scientist all around the world. This recent invention, GMO (Genetic Modified Organism) has opened the eye of many people. Scientist can now make a more complex organism by altering the genes that are encoded in the living organism. They only believe that chemicals is not good for human consumption, only the natural one are good for human body. But without the genetic engineering, the world will not be the same as it is now. Without it human will not develop as fast as it is now. Human can develop because they are constantly researching for the best way to keep this world alive. Without GMO we are just using the old technique and will not evolve. While on the other side there are many GMO that are bad for human consumption. Too many chemicals that are added into a certain organism may be a good choice. Make it faster in growth and many more but there are too many flaws. Like when adding hormone into chicken, true that the chicken is growing rapidly but at the same time it induce bad chemical into our body and also the growth of the animal is not fully optimal, it is like the animal is forced to be grown rapidly. That is what frighten human for GMO products because human tends to only looks at the bad side, not the good side. We should embrace the evolution of human research. Find out what is bad and good and separate it base on our opinion. Not all things in this world is always bad, there are always a good side of bad things.
