Gentrification Doesn T Displace Lower-Income People

What does Gentrification mean? Gentrification is a transformation process that typically occurs in urban neiborhoods or areas. When Higher-income people move in and displace Lower-income existing residents to make places look modern. This is important because it effects Lower-income people because they get sent, forced, or just move out to a poor place, but gentrification has been associated with some positive, such as urban revitalization and lower crime rates, critics charge that it marginalizes racial and ethnic minorities and destroys the character of urban neiborhoods. My Thesis is that Gentrification should be done but Higher-income people shouldn’t replace Lower-income people just because they don’t have the money to make their places more modern, I know modern is better but we should be fair with everything.

This is true because, when Higher-income people started to move in cities that were poor, and that had low- income people. They were doing this to change how shops looked, and made more jobs for people but what that did was make the property and product values increase. During the first half of the twentieth century, industrial jobs fueled the economic growth of most large cities. Many people chose to live near city centers in order to be close to work, causing property and product values to increase. This is important because prices should be lowered on property and products values. I say this because I think, if there are more jobs their is more money and a little more modern places. But not everything should be modern because it makes people move farther from the work ( maybe people lived in there stores that didn’t seem to ruined from the inside) which makes it hard to get to their job and they get paid less when they do more hours at
