Gentry is very close with her three older brothers but particularly close with one of her brothers that she works with. She is also very close with her parents, but more so with me, her mother. Gentry has known some of her friends since kindergarten. She spends a fair amount of time with them because they are all on the tennis team together, however, Gentry has been preparing them fr about two years for her leave for foreign exchange. Gentry reacts to disagreement with an open mind and is willing to look at both sides, however, she doesn't feel like she had to agree to keep peace. Gentry doesn't need to be disciplined very often because she knows the rules and doesn't have a problem following them. Once she gets started, she is level-headed and uses her common sense. Gentry seems to be very independent by nature and has recently expanded that after getting her driver's license. She started taking concurrent enrollment college classes when she was only a sophomore and started her first job immediately after turning sixteen. She has always wanted to grow up fast and do things herself. Gentry seems to be mature beyond her years, but will occasionally have times when she needs to step back and regroup... Don't we all. I am most proud of Gentry's morals, ethics, and values. She is very kind and cares how others are feeling. She s honest an trustworthy. She has very high standards for herself. Gentry has been interested in student foreign exchange and travel for a couple of years now. She is wanting a new challenge and the opportunity to experience a new culture and learn a new language. I believe the experience will be good for her growth if it is well thought out and prepared
