China has risen from an undeveloped nation to the second largest economy throughout history. With technology changing, diversity, and issues occurring in the country, China is still the dominating economy in the world. China is located in East Asia surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on its East Coast and by 14 countries, including Russia and India. According to Countrymeters, population in China is at around 1,380,000,00 in September of 2016. According to Tradingeconomics, Gross Domestic Product(GDP) in china is worth about 109666.44 billion USD in 2015. This value represents 17.53 percent of the world's economy. The Gross Domestic Product per Capita is 9,995.551 USD according to Worldbank. Culture is an important factor determining China. Their Language comprises of 7 main dialects. Mandarin are spoken by 71.5 percent of the population followed by Wu which is 8.5 percent, then Yue which is 5 percent (Yue is more referred as Cantonese.) Hakka is spoken by 3.7 percent of the population. Min is spoken by 4.1 percent of the population. Then, followed by Xiang which makes up 4.8 percent of the spoken population. Gan then makes up 2.4 percent of the population. Food determines their culture in many ways.
