As a result of his intrinsic musical talents, I’ve decided to do my paper on George Frideric Handel. Handel is one of the greatest composers of the Baroque period. He was born on February 23, 1685 and he had plenty of siblings. Additionally, his birthplace was Halle, Brandenburg, which is located in Germany. Before he moved to Hamburg, he went to college at Halle University. Ironically, he wanted to study law but his passion for music overcame that. Therefore he did not continue with studying law for long. As a result, he put most of his focus into music. Handel played violin in the opera house orchestra. Moreover, he moved three times in his life. He first moved to Hamburg and next, he moved to Italy. His final move was to London where he became a hit. Most people enjoyed him there and so his success continued. As a result of him being so good he became the musical director of the Royal Academy of Music. That was his greatest finding and was where he first presented Italian opera. When Handel was young, at the age of 10 he was good at composing for the oboe, the violin, and the organ. While touring in the Italian cities, Handel presented himself to Italy’s musicians. In London Handel had talked with the manager of the King’s Theatre. The manager told him to write opera because he felt that it would be great for Handel, and a bright opportunity for great success. The Rinaldo was the widespread for Handel.
