In the book, a corrupt pig is able to presume control of a farm, by raising vicious dogs to kill anybody who is against him. After the animals revolt and are able to take control of the Manor farm, they continue to take care of the farm, but implement new rules on the farm, only for them to be broken later in the story. Animal Farm is a novella written by George Orwell, published on, August 17, 1945. It was written to portray the Russian revolution in a more understandable way. In the story you can read about times when, for example, a crazed leader, Mr. Jones, over works his animals, and mistreats them as if they were objects. He is later overthrown by one of the Wisest pigs, Old Major, who implements new rules, “the commandment” of this new, “Animal Farm”. The goal of these established …show more content…

But this would not last very long. After Napoleon raises the newly parent-less puppies, the abuses the power and control that the K9 give. He uses the dogs to take control of the Farm, and become the new leader, adopting the idea of Snowball’s windmill, he made all of the animals work longer hours and be fed less. This windmill will later be destroyed by Mr. Jones, who is out to seek revenge, after seeing the amazing revenue from Animal Farm. The rebuilding of the windmill would cost the best worker’s life, and make the animals realize how much the Pigs would act like the humans, in the ways that they rewrote Old Major’s commandment, to make themselves not seem like the bad guys, as they had developed a new upper class, and adopted themselves to it. The animals of the farm, would revolt against the pigs, and take control once again. In Animal Farm, Napoleon the pig will corrupt under the amount of power he has, and it will cost him his life, after he slowly turns himself and others into leaders, who would treat the working class as slaves, and abide by the originally agreed upon rules of Old
