Rhetorical Analysis Animal Farm written by George Orwell is a allegory, or commonly known as a fable. In the course of the novel, Old Major; one of the main characters, gives a very impactful speech. The speech incorporates a variety of strategies which being persuasion, repetition, and motivation elements in order to get the animals to get rid of man. Old Major had a big dream for the farm to be successful without man before his death. His way of getting that dream across to the other animals was by saying his speech before his sad death.
How Hypocrisy and Lies Play a Major Role in the Leadership of the Pigs Lies and hypocrisy can play a major role in a person or group’s leadership. In the book Animal Farm by George Orwell, animals on a farm are unhappy with their life, so they rebel and take over their farm for themselves.. In the beginning of the book the white boar on the farm which everyone calls Old Major has had a dream where man has gone from the Earth and all is peaceful. He also sings a song called Beast of England. It talks of a time when man will be overthrown from the Earth and animals will rein the Earth and there will be no more hunger and no more cruel punishment for any animals.

This week’s chapters of Animal Farm are particularly unsettling. I feel this way because it is obvious that the book is a mirror to our society and there was an astounding lack of resistance to complete domination from the pigs, especially Napoleon. Boxer in particular was so eager to please Napoleon that he took on more than his fair share of the work. I think that is something that can be seen often in our own society; someone who wants to be promoted or who really believes in a cause or mission of a company works exceedingly hard to distinguish themselves, not realizing that the system is rigged. Boxer will not be given more power or leadership duties because he is not a pig and Napoleon only sees horses as labor workers.
In the first three chapters of Animal Farm, a lot happens. The book opens with a wise pig named Old Major having a dream about an Earth with no humans. Old Major gathers the animals and gives a rousing speech about his dream. Shortly thereafter, Old Major dies and the rest of the Pigs honor his memory while planning a rebellion. The pigs form a philosophy called Animalism and educate the rest of the animals about their beliefs.

In the novel Animal Farm, by George Orwell, farm animals rebel against a tyrannical farmer in order to create a more perfect and four-legged society. Two pigs, Napoleon and Snowball rise above the rest as the farm’s foremost leaders. When Snowball is chased off the farm by dogs, Napoleon, who has taken leadership of Animal Farm, and his right hand, a pig named Squealer, begin to spread rumors of cowardice, traitorous behavior, and sabotage by Snowball. Sometimes it is necessary to take chances, just like the animals did in the book "Animal Farm". The animals in the book "Animal Farm" were tired of the farmers treating them like slaves. The farmers worked them to the point of cruelty, giving them the minimum amount of food to keep them alive. The animals were tired and hungry and finally had enough, so the decided to overthrow the farmers. I think that the chance the animals were taking was necessary in order to keep themselves alive.

In the story Animal Farm by George Orwell, it starts out as one old pigs dream but once he passes away and the group of animals can’t take their struggle anymore, their dream of taking over begins. Their dream of a land of equality for all animals is soon put into action and at first starts to turn out well. Although as it turns out, most of the animals are worse than they were before, but their leaders force them to believe that they are better off.
In the Novel Animal Farm at the beginning of the story there is a pig named Old Major. He talks about a dream of a rebellion to overthrow man. In his speech he says that if the animals overthrow him they shall not adopt the way he acts. This means that if the animals succeed in the rebellion they shall not act like man. Some of the bad things he does are drink alcohol, he killed animals and wore clothes made of animals.
The last chapter in “Animal Farm,” starts years later. Many animals have died but many have replaced them. Two new animals were brought from Pilkington’s farm, the two horses are very stupid. The windmill was finally rebuilt and is now being used for milling corn. There is still very little food on the farm.
