Leader Description/Bio:
George Washington was the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797. He played a huge leadership role in the American Revolution as commander-in-chief of the Continental Army. Washington is often referred to as the "Father of This Country" and is considered one of the most important founding fathers of the United States. He also helped shape and form this country's government, serving as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention, and was instrumental in writing the U.S. Constitution.

He was also a great communicator, able to articulate his vision and ideas clearly and effectively. In addition, he had a strong work ethic, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility for the country he helped create.
