As a start up we will begin by keeping operations on a smaller scale with few multi skilled employees who can work well on cross functional teams. We look to hire within five different departments that will be comprised of open minded individuals who value the basis of teamwork, communication, innovation and creativity. 1) Research and Development: This is a crucial department for the success of Giftlet because as technology continues to advance and the mobile market is constantly expanding we need up to date information at all times. These groups include a strategic planning and conflict management, social media outreach and advertising, the creative commons, data analysts and so on. The success of Giftlet is highly dependent on its ability to communicate its creative innovation and capture the market.

4) External Resources: The external resources department is in charge of all the sponsorship, investment and partnership opportunities. Since Giftlet is an app that is heavily based on retail stores and the retail experience it is imperative that Giftlet can create strong relationships with retailers. This will allow Giftlet to stay ahead of the competition by establishing special deals with companies in a mutually beneficial relationship.

5) Human Resources: The HR department will be in charge of screening and hiring all the employees of the departments listed above. In order to have a successful company the human resources department will conduct thorough checks.
