Introduction
After decades of globalization, international relation cannot be simply understood as the relationship between the states. More non-state actors have been included into the international relation, such as Multinational Corporation (MNCs) and Non-Governmental organizations. These non-state actors can be seen as a symbol of state’s soft power; most non-state actors use their international influence to change international relation, rather than to use the coercive means to force others. Boeing Company also concerns about the environmental issues in the world, and attempt to update the production technology reduce environmental pollution (Environment, n.d.). Boeing Company will hold an open and positive attitude to work with government and organization globally on environmental issues. Boeing Company believes that upgrading material technology and the use of bio-fuels will be able to further reduce the pollution problem when the products in use (Environment, n.d.). In Boeing Company’ opinion, the relationship between environmental performance target and the airplane production are coexisting; the company will be able to meet the environment protection target while ramping up airplane production (Environment, n.d.). Human right issues are another global issue. Boeing Company believes that human resource is an important factor for the development of Boeing; people are Boeing’s most vital asset (Human Right, n.d.). Boeing attaches great importance to the safety and health of the working environment. The major concepts of human right have been included in the enduring values of Boeing Company. China is an important regional power in the Asia-Pacific region, and it is also the fastest growing country in the world. Boeing Company sees China is an important partner for civil aviation; the company is willing to further expand the scale of production lines in China. After Boeing expanded its production lines in China, these production lines will greatly ease Boeing’s production pressure in the United States, and the most important point is it can shorten Boeing’s time to deliver aircraft to Asia-Pacific customers. For the environmental issues, Boeing Company will continue to develop new engines technology and new environmentally friendly fuels. In terms of aviation environmental issues, Boeing will continue to maintain the role of leader based on the environmentally friendly technologies.
