Many people believe in global warming, and think that humans are causing it. Others think that it’s not a problem because of the climate change. The reasons that I believe that global warming is an issue is that, every time we turn on a light, we are causing global warming, ocean levels have been rising, and global temperatures have been rising. My position is that global warming is a problem on Earth that all living things are causing. My first reason is that, every time that we turn on a light, we are causing global warming. Every time that you drive a car to work, you are causing global warming. Every time we are in school, we are causing global warming. Now think about it, how is this possible? Greenhouse gasses are how it’s possible! Every time that you burn oil from fossil fuels, you are polluting, and that creates greenhouse gasses. Do you know how much energy we use every day? It changes every day, but I can tell you one thing, the US generates about 4,000 terawatt-hours (TWh) a year. That’s a lot of power, think of how much pollution that is. I’m just saying, next time, before you go to school think “What if my future is depending on this one car ride to school?” Will it kill you to ride your bike? No, but it might kill …show more content…
“In a total solar eclipse, the disk of the sun is covered by the disk of the moon, and also the sun’s corona is visible to the naked eye. The path of totality –the region of witch the total eclipse is visible to sky watchers- will be 70 miles wide, it will stretch from Organ to South Carolina. The U.S is the only country that will be touched by the eclipse’s path of totality on August 21, 2017.” Our last Solar eclipse warmed the U.S up because it went from coast to coast. We are not having global warming, we are just having a warm
