The reservoir was definitely the main draw to the parks as we saw several fishermen on boats. As Dave and I drove past the lake we notice multiple buyees scattered amongst the lake, she (we totally forgot her name) said they move the buyees several times throughout the season for no wake zones.

SWOSU intramural football team, “Happy Campers”, competed in the NIRSA Regional Championship in Lincoln, Nebraska this past weekend. The Happy Campers have won the past four SWOSU Flag Football Championships and have gone undefeated all four years. With that record, the Happy Campers had the opportunity to travel to the University of Nebraska to play in the NIRSA Regional Championship which featured around 40 teams.

SHALLOW CRANKIN’ FALL CRAPPIE Crappie fishing; to most, bring visions of cool spring mornings with fog lingering over the surface of the lake and burning off shortly after rigging a bobber and a minnow to cast to a brush pile and wait for the Crappie to find your bait. Classic Crappie fishing to be sure and very effective to say the least, as many of you, like myself, grew up fishing this way almost exclusively.
