Gods existence and Intention The idea of divine intervention, when it comes to how and why we are here, has existed since humans have been able to write and record history. Could the drive of us rising out of the primordial muck be the intent and action of the divine, or is it born of random cause and effect? In addition, are the tales of old, words of the divine in an attempt to guide us to salvation as they claim, or perhaps the complete creation of humans to give order to chaos and the unknown around us. all of our decisions are all leading up to an end game not desired nor procured by our own will. This would mean that we have zero free will, that we have no meaning or purpose of our own, we are just pawns unwittingly going about our day. i like to think that there is nothing but my own desire shaping my future as well as those around me committing the same action. if i have no control of my life, then what is the point? i mise well just eat all day, not worry about anything, do what i want, and later on die. i want to have purpose of my own, not purpose of a puppet master, no matter what his true intent …show more content…

is there a plan? is all that i around us by design or by random cause and effect? if god is there, what is his intentions for us, and are they intentions of benevolence or malevolence? if god is real, is he truly all powerful and all knowing, or is he just another piece of a puzzle that is this vast universe, simply living on a higher plane of existence? the answers will reveal themselves with time, perseverance of knowledge, and even perhaps god or the gods will reveal themselves at a chosen time. until then however, we should question these claims daily, and those of us who have faith in god can still do so without shaking our faith. it could in fact strengthen it, because either reality is possible. to clarify, the point in this paper is not to attack religion or god, it is simply thoughts from my observations and knowledge of the universe around me. i believe in challenging anything and everythings, especially when there are mountains of ideas and evidence that give support to the arguments. i also accept that i could be wrong about my theories, but in that regard, if i am wrong, i will then learn the truth, and that is what i personally strive to do, as should we
