I am seeking a Masters of Taxation from Golden Gate University to be able to transition my career to work in Big 4 public accounting. I believe that studying at Golden Gate University’s Braden School of Taxation would be instrumental in providing me the necessary skills and business acumen to begin my career as a CPA. Public accounting offers a unique set of challenges, but a rewarding career, advocating for clients in a wide variety of industries.
I am interested in studying taxation because as a future CPA, I have strong problem solving skills to help people interpret complex and changing tax laws. I am passionate about providing a meaningful service that has such an important impact on individuals and businesses. A tax professional is valuable because of the research, strategy and execution that the professional does. If clients come to a CPA when they are in financial trouble, the CPA can provide solutions in a consultative and professional way.

Clients seek integral advice that impacts business decisions, and appropriate tax solutions help clients save money and expand their business. I seek to foster client relationships by producing positive solutions to clients by understanding their financial situation to give efficient and common sense tax solutions for their tax problems.
