Once the $25,000 is with me I will start up a business I once tried doing called Goldie’s Crafts. Goldie being the name of my grandmother who had passed while I was at a very young age, loved to sew, craft, and give back. Knowing these things about her I will ensure her legacy continues through my work in her honor. Goldie’s Crafts will be a crafting business with tons of different in store items. inside the store will be sewing machines, fabric, clothing, hair bows, home décor, and a personal t-shirt making area. Customers can come in buy their merchandise from a family like atmosphere, the limits for what you can find are endless. Mission Statement: a. Our journey at Goldie’s Crafts will be an evermoving ride with the community. Dedicated to the community we will adapt to satisfying the community member inside our family like atmosphere keeping up with the trends, while providing our services to the community. Valuing our customers, it is our standard to inspire creativity, make a difference and above all else foster a home for creative minds. 2. SWOT Analysis: a. Sikeston Missouri, located right in the bootheel is very community based. Constantly growing in business and educational opportunities, we will thrive from their uprisings. A strength with in our company will be the partnerships we will have with the schools, and the classes we offer. Another strength is the unique diverse options you have within our store. Men and women of all different ages can come in do their own crafting inside our exclusive classroom space, sell their crafts, and even buy some of our in-store merchandise whether its home décor, or our personal crafts, clothing, and hairbows. The weaknesses with our SWOT analysis would be the flea markets and other consignment stores in the area. Opportunities for Goldie’s Crafts is the possibility for growth and partnerships we can make. Since we do have a pretty diverse crafting like studio this leaves us with many options.
