o nce upon a time in Haiti, there was a twenty eight year old lady who lived in a huge castle all by herself in a village called Gonaives. She had a servant for every task. She was as beautiful as the Greek goddess Hera, and as intelligent as the Greek god Apollo. On top of being beautiful and intelligent, she was also rich. Everyone who met her said God must have taken his time to create her. She appeared to be perfect, but she was ugly on the inside. She was rude and disrespectful to others. She had no respect for anyone at all because she thought she was above everyone else. The guest looked stunning and her dress was magnificent. At that moment, Danie felt a prick of jealousy. She felt like the guest was stealing her spotlight and she could not stand it, so, she decided to ruin her guest’s moment. While drinking the soup, poof, she suddenly turned into a dog. At that moment, the witch turned into her true self and Danie realized she had been tricked. She was furious, she barked, whined, and howled, but nothing could be done to change her back to her human form. The witch found such delight in her annoying little sounds, because for once Danie was not in control. After Danie calmed herself down, the witch gave her two conditions she had to meet in order to reverse the spell.
