“ My heart was fashioned to be susceptible of love and sympathy, and when wrenched by misery to vice and hatred, it did not endure the violence of the change without torture such as you cannot even imagine.” (chapter 24, page 113) This shows that evil is bred because when a living thing is brought to this world it first needs to be raised , before they can go off and live in the real world. This is where Frankenstein messed up. When he first brought the “monster” back to life , he forgot to give the monster the most important thing , love. Thus, this made the monster believe that he was not loved by Frankenstein. For instance , the monster experiences a moment when he feels powerless. This what he says ” You have left me no power to consider weather I am just to you or not. Begone ! relieve me from the sight of your detested form.”pg. 113 , The creature is trying to say that Victor left him with no power, which ties in with my thesis because when the creature was created , Victor didn’t give him the support that he needed . It goes to show that evil is bred because Victor didn’t do anything to keep him out from outside world. Nevertheless, it led to chaos in the village because everybody thought that he was because everybody thought that he was horrifying . Subsequently, the monster became more violent, aggressive toward others as more people screamed with terror after they took a small glance at his face. …show more content…
