Per the Gospel of Mark, Chapters 1 – 10, the events and places that Jesus visited are noted. Mark writes that Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized by John in the Jordan River. He was sent out to the wilderness by the Spirit for forty days, to be tempted by Satan and after John was put in prison Jesus went into Galilee to proclaim the good news of God by telling others that the time has come, the kingdom of God is here, repent and believe. When Jesus was walking along the Sea of Galilee, Jesus saw Simon and Andrew casting their net into the sea. This is where Jesus called for them to follow him, drop their nets and fish for the people. As one can easily see Jesus’ travels are spelled out.

He then went to the mountainside and called to the twelve He wanted, appointed them and granted the twelve the authority to drive out demons. These twelve chosen ones, we know as the Twelve Apostles. Jesus returned to the lake and taught many parables. When it was evening Jesus asked His Disciples to take him by boat to the other side of the lake. Jesus was sleeping and the waters became treacherous. The Disciples were afraid and awoke Jesus. Jesus told the winds and water to “Quiet! Be Still.” The winds died down and the water calmed. This terrified the Disciples as they asked each other, “Who was this man that even the wind and waves obey him!” Across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes, a man that no could subdue came to meet Jesus and asked Jesus, “What do you want with me?” He fell on his knees at the feet of Jesus. Jesus demanded for the impure spirit to be removed from the man. Jesus then asked the demon his name. The demon replied his name is Legion, we are many and begged Him not to send them out of the area. There was a large herd of pigs on the hillside. Legion asked if He would allow them to go with the pigs. Jesus did and the pigs then rushed down the hill into the water and drowned. He instructed His Disciples to travel in pairs and preach that people should repent. The Disciples returned telling Jesus of all they had done. Trying to go to a remote location but unable to leave the crowds that followed them, Jesus instructed them to feed the crowds. The Disciples told Jesus, they only have five loaves of bread and two fish. As we all know, Jesus took what they had, looked up to heaven and gave thanks, He gave the food to the Disciples to distribute. They did so and all were satisfied. Jesus then went to the mountainside to pray. Later that night He saw the disciples struggling on the lake, before dawn Jesus walked on the water, they were afraid and yelled out, Jesus approached the boat telling them not to be afraid, it was He. Jesus climbed aboard and the winds calmed. Landing in Gennersaret, people knew who He was and gathered the sick and begged Him to allow them to touch His cloak. Those who did were healed. Jesus went to Tyre. Jesus entered a home, wanting to keep his presence unknown. However, a woman with a child possessed with an impure spirit begged Jesus to heal her daughter. After healing the girl Jesus left Tyre and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee into the region of Decapolis. A deaf and near mute man asked Jesus to place His hands upon him. He put His fingers in the man’s ears and touched his tongue, healing the man. After performing another miracle with food, Jesus got
