I have been actively-involved in biochemical research since my freshman year and strive for challenge by placing more graduate-like demands on myself so that I can easily overcome the barrier of the transition to graduate school. I have been granted competitive university-wide undergraduate research fellowships for two successive years based upon the submission of original research proposals.
