From a young age I showed a special interest for Economics. I would read financial newspapers and keeping a close watch on economic news issues. My grandfather is an accountant and in my free time I like to help him in his work. At fifteen years old I began to realize that Economic subjects are what suit me the most. My mother is a primary school teacher and I have a younger sister who is a student in the first year of High School. Since the start of my school years I have been an excellent student. I finished primary school with the highest grade of 19 and 11/13 out of 20. Last year I finished my 2nd year in Lyceum with the final overall grade of 19.2 which was also the highest in both my classroom and also in the direction of the lessons which I attend this year. I also have awards for excellence in all classes of High School and Lyceum. My goals and my expectations for this year are just as high. Although my mother tongue is Greek I started learning English at six years old. Due to the ease I had with both the use of language and writing process, I managed at age thirteen to receive the FCE Lower of Cambridge. I continued my lessons and at the age of fifteen I received the ECPE of Michigan. In the 2nd year of Lyceum I passed the CIE exams and got two AS-Levels in Mathematics and Economics. I am interested in constant news information and updates in order to enrich my knowledge while when dealing with arising issues, I am considered groundbreaking, innovative and “open minded”.
