Good evening Lia,

1st, thank you again for everything! Thank you for thinking of me back in December and for agreeing to write my member letter. Below, please find information regarding my reason for wanting to join Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, along with details concerning my public service. Lastly, I've attached my resume for your review to assist with the writing of this letter.

My interest in membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated first began in High School when one Saturday afternoon while out shopping with my Aunt Mary Crooms, she shared with me how her membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated allowed her to serve our community in Paterson, NJ. At this time, I knew nothing about greek life, but public service was instilled in me through my Mother who still to this day encourages my siblings and I to actively, unselfishly and consistently serve and give.

This seed of service was then further cultivated through my activities with my local NAACP Youth Department and my local church where I actively participated in service opportunities throughout the State of New Jersey, where I held leadership …show more content…

Together we ensure they're picked up and brought back to their "home" for the evening, and they return having been fed with any items they may need in hand.
