It is an honor to welcome Mr. Price Pullins to the 2017 Michigan Autism Conference. Mr. Pullins is a Chief Behavioral Psychologist working with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, as well as the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration. He specializes in consultation on challenging treatment cases throughout the behavioral health and developmental disabilities system within Michigan. Mr. Pullins is recognized internationally for his work in developing the largest Pychosocial Rehabilitation Program for patients needing long-term care in psychiatric hospitals. Katherine Lord. Dr. Lord is a Professor of Psychology at Weill Cornell Medical College, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Director of the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain. Her dedication and countless contributions to the field have substantiated her as an international expert in the diagnosis, social and communication development and intervention in autism spectrum disorders (ASD). She is renowned for her work in longitudinal studies of children with autism as well as for her role in developing the autism diagnostic instruments used in both practice and in research worldwide today. We are delighted to have her here today to dissertate her longitudinal study “What can we Learn About Appropriate Services in Children with ASD from our Longitudinal Study From 2-22”. Rick Kubina to the 2017 Michigan Autism Conference. Dr. Kubina is a Professor of Special Education at the Pennsylvania State University and co-founder of Chartlytics. In addition to publishing multiple research articles, books, and book chapters on evidence-based education and measurement of student progress, he has also consulted with a multitude of school districts and charter schools using Precision Teaching, effective practice methods, and other remarkable educational programs. Today Dr. Kubina will be providing reason and evidence showing how the Standard Celeration Chart offers high caliber visual representations of data and precision metrics and analytics.
