INTRODUCTION Great Giza pyramids were located in Egypt one of the African countries, to start with there are many theories that explained why and how these historical structures where meant to help the natives and also how symbolizes. These theories based their ideas on how this pyramids where built, there were a lot of processes on it.first it was constructed by using stones of which it was being extracted from quarry. These stones where being dragged and lifted to the construction site. The outer surface of the stone was made smooth so that it will not erode as the time goes by. REASONS FOR BUILDING THE PYRAMID Anything that is being constructed must have a reason for its existence, on this case of Giza pyramids there were several reasons, to start with it was basically to act as barriers against sand that was irrupting from Nubia and also some part of the country. Also it was an imitation of the biblical aspect of ark of Noah and the historical tower of babel. It is believed that the construction was an idea stolen from the two biblical aspects. To add more, it was design to be a tomb of the king this basically a theory from Mariette Bey an advocate on tomb theory. These great pyramids was meant to provide standard of measure which is being used in mathematical problems this was being introduced by Edinburg professor whereby he confessed that it’s an actual purpose of the pyramid.to add more on this it was also said to be used for observing heavens since it was very tall as compared to the tower of babel which where built to reach Gods place.it was believed that the more you go up there is a higher possibility to talk to God.
