The poem is all about a Grecian urn. It talks about the urn as an undying form of emotion. An emotion that will still be felt after time eradicates everything. The poem is basically telling us that this urn is not just a thing that will be destroyed as time goes by but rather an object of emotion that will still continue to live even though everything in its era is already gone. The art in this poem is in the shape of a Grecian urn. Grecian means that it is something related to the ancient Greece. From there, we can say that this urn is already lost in time but we can see in the poem that even though the urn is already lost in time its stories is still in time. The poem is saying that art is not just a picture. Art is not just an object of colors. There is more to it. Art is our way of materializing our own passion, emotions, feelings, and hope. In this way, these things that we value so much will forever live but it will only live forever if we continue our path of seeking the truth. Plants, animals, technology, civilizations, and even humans die as time goes by but art lives forever. Art will never go away as long as there are people who seek the truth. Emotion is the only thing that can lead us to the truth and art is full of it. That is why art is so full of life because it is full of our hope that someday we will see truth. One good example of is Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Even though this art is already hundreds of years in old, we still continue to seek that there is something that is hiding in the picture. We continue to hope that someday this art will direct us to something great. From there, we can conclude that as long as there are people hoping, an art will be forever remembered.
