A book about a boy’s quest for hidden treasure, seeing new places, meeting new people. It’s become a worldwide hit, selling millions of copies since its publication in 1988. Throughout the book the main character, Santiago, has one goal which is to find his treasure. His treasure isn’t Fatima or the knowledge of his journey. It’s a chest of gold and other precious items. Now we come to the Alchemist, someone focused on the things of this world, even with his amazing knowledge and wisdom.
