Everyone loves him because he scored the winning touchdown in the county championship the year before. He lucked out and caught the ball that flew out his ex-bestfriend’s helmet when he was in the end zone, with three seconds to go. All of the young children look up to him and everyone likes him, so his life is great except for one thing. He starts off bored and suggests changes to make it more modern. And strangely enough, all of the changes he makes to the play are supported by the cast except for her and Mr. Fogelman. Rachel thinks Wallace is just a stuck-up football player who is uneducated and uncultured. She believes that she is the only one who knows who Wallace truly is and that he doesn’t belong in the play. Wallace stays with the cast and quits the team to make sure the play doesn’t get reverted to its original boring state. Everyone on the cast is really happy that he stays.
