This is due to the fact that RWC has the advantage of having an internally designed machine capable of producing this type of high-quality product. The entrant of Green Rope Inc. (GRI) made a significant impact since it was able to produced same product with a cheaper price but with a lesser quality. Based on the case, though, we can infer that after more than two years, GRI is now facing a tough situation of closing the business due to quality problems of their product. I can assume that their quality problem situations made them unpopular to their customers although they offer cheaper prices. Also, I am assuming that GRI was not very keen on quality control planning as well as hiring the needed personnel who are expert on this line of business. When GRI entered the market, they are more concerned on making the prices cheaper to attract customers rather than investing on quality control planning and maintenance. The end result of this based on the case, is the fact that after operating for more than two years, GRI is now facing lawsuits due to failure of the wire rope which caused casualties in various construction sites and is in the brink of collapsing entirely. I am assuming that same people who were hired when it started two years age are still the same people who are working with me now. I am also assuming that there was no confidentiality agreement contracted between me and my former employer. Concerning my job, I can also assume that I was hired by GRI not only based on my skills but also with the fact that I previously worked at RWC. I have the necessary experience that might be advantageous to them and in connection with this, I am also assuming that GRI has the capabilities of developing a machine that would rival what RWC possesses based on the knowledge that I have regarding the design and critical process that I
