As a child, I was always pushed to do the best in almost everything. I was enrolled in many activities such as swimming classes, ballet classes, drawing classes. piano classes, and academics. My mom thought it was a great idea for me to learn as many things as I could so it could be of later use to me. Of course she was right, but I always thought I was worked like a puppet. Not being able to do the things I want and always being controlled. My friends and I were going home after school one day, and we were on the topic about our childhood. The people’s love for Grenouille triggered Grenouille’s insane imagination. He proclaimed himself as God and named himself as Grenouille the Great. Even with all these things happening at once, a man named Antoine Richis had ran up to Grenouille. Antoine Richis was the father of Laura Richis who was one of the girls that Grenouille murdered. Grenouille expected the worse, he was ready to take a stab to the heart or curses for his wrongdoing. Instead, Richis hugged Grenouille with tears flowing down his face begging for forgiveness.
