Prologue:
One of the greatest tortures is the idea of knowing you cannot change your fate in any way possible. A life where you must suffer day by day simply because that's the way life is is no way to live. However, praying and crying had never done much for any of the towns living in the divided world. There are four sections on the planet: Fall, Winter, Spring, and summer. One for each of the seasons. Each of these four sections is led by one god. Carpo is The God of Fall, Helios The God of Summer, Ostara The God of Spring, and Boreas The God of Winter. There is one overruling god as well, and she goes by the name of Horae.

It is the only guarantee that one can have. Snow now realized all of the problems around her and the fact that she needed to fix something. A gathering took place in Hazel’s honor, one where people were allowed to enter the palace and grieve over her as a whole. Being such a small town, everyone knew everyone and of course, something like this was just as painful to the people down the roads and around the corners. Grief is a guarantee but with grief comes realization and with realization, change occurs.
Queen Snow took advantage of the gathering in Hazel’s honor as a way to tell all the people in the town that this would not last much longer. That nothing would ever happen like this.
