The human mind is a complex system, and it can be pushed to its limits in extreme situations. In the anime Berserk, the character Griffith experiences a harrowing ordeal in which he is locked away in a dark cell, isolated from the world and subjected to severe physical and psychological torture. This essay will explore Griffith's experience in the dark cell and how it led him down a dark path.
