One of the biggest differences between me now and I was younger is my ability to handle money. When I was younger, I wasn’t as careful, and if I saw something I wanted I would simply buy it. Like Eileen Brenoff describes in her piece “ Growing Less Dumb”, I learned from the experience of making mistakes when I was younger. If I wanted an expensive outfit to go clubbing in, I would buy it and figure out the financial effects later.
