Growth hormone is a hormone that stimulates growth in the body. The growth hormone causes the bones to become longer.
What is a growth hormone?
Growth hormone controls the growth process and provides the right amounts of fat, water and muscle in the body. It stimulates the construction of new cells and the production of firm bone tissue. Growth hormone is also affecting concentricity and memory.
The release of growth hormone
Hormones are substances released by glands in the body. Hormones get into the blood and are brought into the body through the blood where they perform their function. Growth hormone is released throughout the life of the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is a small gland at the base of the brain. The release of growth hormone is not evenly distributed throughout the day. Growth hormone levels rise after falling asleep.
