What’s missing from the typical kindergartener’s backpack? A gun. The ultimate solution to gun violence is more guns, isn’t that obvious? We are in need of guns everywhere to the point where our nation needs armed guards in every school. They say the more guns we have, the more gun violence there is, but in fact it does the complete opposite and solves gun violence.
Due to my passion to help stop gun violence, I decided to do project, on preparing an effective gun violence speech more specifically formulating a speech for President Barack Obama. In this month alone in the United States, we have had more than three counts of mass shooting and of October 21st 2015, there was also another mass shooting in the United States. With so many shooting and death totals, gun violence has because a novelty because everyone citizens, public and the media all have their versions or opinions to the current situation. With gun violence being widespread, there are numerous accesses to information’s regarding gun in general and due to numerous accesses to information’s, the interested party has accesses to either conduct or explore a research.
Gun control is one of the most controversial topics today. Many believe that owning a firearm is a form of self-defense, while others say an armed civilian is highly unlikely to stop a dangerous situation from escalating. By controlling who can obtain a gun, acts of violence could be greatly reduced. This gun violence prevention ad was created by the group, Moms Demand Action, as a result of the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary shooting that took place in 2012. The group was started by a stay-at-home mom named Shannon Watts.
Kristof somewhat effectively argues that if guns and their owners were controlled in the same way that cars and their drivers are, thousands of lives could be protected each year by using persuasive techniques. Kristof’s essay adequately compares car regulations to gun control. He is extremely comprehensive on reasons why we should have gun regulations similar to automobiles controls. Kristof contrasts the statistics of firearm and automobile deaths to move the readers to harmonize with his opinion of the subject.

These school shootings have caused an outcry for more gun control, specifically in relation to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. If every american was able to obtain a firearm imagine what the numbers of gun related deaths. Even gun related injuries caused many more hospital visits in america what many other common incidents. On, February 14, 2018, a mass school shooting in Florida got the nation’s attention, however, gun violence has always been an issue, and it is only getting worse. Now people are saying there needs to be something done, and there are many that agree. Starting off there should be stricter gun laws, because in today’s world it is too easy to get handguns and assault rifles. With, the capabilities a firearm holds, such as taking people’s lives there must be stricter restrictions that could help cut down the gun violence and save lives. Gun violence is a serious problem and the people of the United States have wanted to solve this problem this for a long time.
