Mattie trusts Rooster because she’s been old that he is a man with true grit. This trait to Mattie means a person who has a lot of courage, which is something she needs someone with to go on the journey. This helps their journey because it helps them be able to navigate the plains unafraid and with precision. This also helps when they get into the middle of a gun fights with Lucky Ned Pepper’s posse. Rooster trait also helps the quest because it makes Mattie feel a lot more comfortable with capturing Chaney and not being harmed.
According to the article, “A Different Point of View: A Critique of Diamond’s Work”, it states “...Diamond’s central conception is that the course of history, broadly speaking, is not determined by individual actions, cultural factors, or racial differences, but by the environmental circumstances into which different groups of people accidentally wandered”. Based on where the people are located, the people over in the area tend to be more fortunate based on the climate in the area. According to the reading, it states “...to wind up in places that offered a variety of plants and animals suitable for domestication, and that made acquiring domesticated species and new technologies from other societies relatively easy, wounded up having a decisive advantage over groups located in environments lacking those features”. The population, or white people to be specific, were fortunate enough to have their resources and adapting to their environment to reproduce helped them be advanced in some areas around the
Africa is known as the origin of the human race. Since that is the case, Africa has had the most opportunities to impress the modern world. Africa has done just that. Africa had three major kingdoms, each of which were major successes. Throughout history, Africa’s kingdoms have utilized their natural resources to become some of the most prosperous kingdoms the world has ever seen.
In modern society, guns are seen as a form of control. Those who have guns are able to overpower those who do not. This trend was set when guns were first invented and has stayed the same throughout history. The one place where guns are not a symbol of power and control is in literature, specifically “The Old Gun” and Hamilton. In Mo Yan’s short story “The Old Gun”, the protagonist is a hungry boy who does not even know how to use the titular firearm.
“The White Man’s Burden.” In the excerpt from his book, Morel clearly stated that “it is [the Africans] that carry the Black man’s burden.” Indeed, he argued that before white men invaded their land, Africans “have not withered away before.” With his writing, Morel aimed to report and describe
The Second Amendment states that one has the right to bear arms. This right can be taken away from one when they do some sort of crime that goes against this and gets their right taken away from them. Around 3 million americans carry a gun with they all the time with a concealed weapons permit. That number is 20% out of the 15 million americans that have a concealed weapons permit. We should not get rid of the right to carry a concealed weapon though there are exceptions depending on the person and their history.
Concealed Protection A concealed handguns can be a tool for the public’s protection. Concealed handguns should be legal in all 50 states because the Second Amendment guarantees it. Most concealed handgun owners are law abiding citizens and it can be used for protection from harm.

Title: Gun Violence As I write this introduction, I am like millions of others watching the tragedy in Louisiana and Alabama caused by hurricane Katrina. A small but important part of the devastation and the challenge is the existence of individuals and groups of citizens from the area mostly impacted by the storm who used guns against their neighbours and those attempting to assist them. In any other industrialised nation, this will never happen because it will eventually cause the level of socialisation to decline due to the issue pertaining citizens getting the ready access towards guns. Most likely, gun violence is categorised as the most highly anticipated violence around the world because it is growing rapidly and causes
Chapter 4: Firearm Maintenance You should clean your gun regularly if you want to make sure that it will work safely and correctly every time you use it. Guns that are poorly maintained may malfunction, which can mean certain death in some situations. It may explode in your hands or misfire, things that you never want to happen (especially during a gunfight). If you will take care of your firearm properly, you will be able to maintain its excellent condition and prolong its life.
"In 1990, handguns were used to kill approximately 48 people in Japan, 8 in Great Britain, 34 in Switzerland, 52 in Canada, 58 in Israel, 42 in West Germany and 10,728 in the United States”. For many years, America has been regarded as one of the world’s most perilous and ferocious countries in the world. The death rate caused by active gun shooters in the US is extraordinary: “since 1968, more Americans have died from gunfire than died in … all the wars of this country 's history”. Hence why public ownership of guns should be abolished in the USA. Can you imagine to what extent the death rate in America has increased by now?
