In the mid eighties a band named Guns N Roses emerged. Lead singer Axl Rose, a fan of Queen, was a high school dropout and a man with a pretty big criminal record. He became friends with guitarist Izzy Stradlin, whom he met in high school, and the two formed a band named Guns N Roses . The name coming from two groups they had been in earlier named Hollywood Rose and L.A. Guns. Guns N Roses has gained members, created albums, and went on tours.

The very first tour was very good and had a number of sell outs. Guns N Roses very first performance at a concert was on September 5, 1987 at Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California. This concert was very successful. The concert was sold out and caused them to gain even more fame. The next four concerts were in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Huntsville Alabama, Chattanooga Tennessee, and Rockford Illinois respectively. These four concerts were the breaking point for Guns N Roses and they became international stars. They had about 20 concerts on this tour and continued to have sell outs. This was the best tour that Guns N Roses has had simply because it was there first. Now, in the twentieth century, Guns N Roses are still going on tour but with different members. Guns N Roses still have Axl Rose as the lead singer, Slash as the guitarist, and Duff McKagan as the bassist. They now have a synthesizer named Melissa Reese. Melissa was born in Seattle Washington and joined the band in 2016. They have Richard Fortus, a American Guitarist, who joined the band in 2001 and Frank Ferrer, a drummer, who joined in 2006. In 2017 they have gone to St Louis Missouri, Minneapolis Minnesota, Denver Colorado, Little Rock Arkansas, Miami Florida, Buffalo New York, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and New York City New York.
