They can ship almost anywhere in the world, which aided in increasing their profits and name recognition. Finally, the Internet has opened new channels of distribution and increased customer satisfaction. Gymboree also expanded their market by starting play programs for children. They established the Gymboree Play and Music brand. Today there are over 550 locations in 30 countries, making us the global leader in early childhood development programs (Gymboree Play and Music, 2015). Gymboree was able to create the program because they had a flexible business model. Gymboree already had the solid reputation for their children’s clothing line and were able to expand with the play and music brand capturing new and existing customers.
